New Leaf Life Coaching

Welcome!

Are you ready to improve your life?

Are you ready to make your dreams come true?

Are you ready for the next level of success?

You are ready for life coaching.

What is life coaching?

Coaching is a partnership to help you overcome obstacles that keep you from reaching your full potential. Coaching helps you to create a fulfilling life. Coaching helps you to discover who you are and who you want to be. Coaching helps you to take the steps necessary to create your perfect life.

Most of us have dreams or long-held goals that, for one reason or another, we have not fulfilled. Maybe it was because someone told us our dream was foolish, and we believed them. Maybe it was because we were afraid of taking a risk, or of failing. Maybe it was because things happened in our lives that were beyond our control, but that made following our dreams next to impossible.

But it is never too late to make your dreams come true. It is possible to change your life for the better. It is not easy, but what do you have to lose by trying?

Making the commitment to work with a life coach is a powerful first step that can set change in motion.

What does a life coach do?

  • Helps you clarify what you want.
  • Keeps you focused on achieving your goals..
  • Helps you rediscover your strengths.
  • Helps you create more balance in your life.
  • Gives you new perspectives on your life and objective feedback.
  • Listens to you.
  • Supports you in achieving your goals.

As a newspaper editor and writer for the past 21 years, I have trained many writers to award-winning careers in journalism. As a book publisher, I have published my own first novel, as well as a children's book by another writer, so I have gained valuable experience in self-publishing and launching a small business.

As a life coach, I am especially interested in helping aspiring writers to begin their careers, and established writers to jump-start their stalled careers and move to the next level of success. I enjoy working with creative people, no matter what their field. I would love to work with you on your journey toward a happier and more successful life.

I have been where you are. Like you, I was hesitant to contact a life coach, even though I was intrigued by the idea of working with someone who could help me improve my life. Was it right for me? Was it worth the money? Was it just New Age-y mumbo jumbo?

Ultimately, I made the decision to hire a coach. I needed to do something to change my life for the better. Working with a life coach helped me to pull myself out of my rut, to create a new vision for my life, and to make my dream of becoming a published novelist a reality. Now I want to help others who are stuck, like I have been, in unhappy, unhealthy and unfulfilling careers and lives.

The success you derive from working with a coach depends on your commitment. Only you can make changes in your life, but a coach can help you create the roadmap for a richer, more satisfying life and career.

Begin your journey toward fulfillment and success today. Turn over a new leaf and have the life and career of your dreams.

 Feedback from readers
From someone who just spent a solid month trying to come up with a title for a book "in the works" of her own, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated your column on that very process.
This site should be in every emerging writer's "Favorites" folder. You give fantastic insight and provide a lot of motivation and inspiration to keep writing, Robyn. Thanks for being a great "writer's writer."

I really enjoyed your column on press kits. Those are eight words I never thought I'd say, to be honest. Who'd-a-thunk press releases could be interesting? But your pointers were highly informative and presented in an easy-to-read way - very conversational.

Robyn! Outstanding start to your Web site. Immediately read chapter one of "Lakota Moon." It's cool synchronicity that it starts around a campfire and I have been writing about campfire stories all week on the journal. Wish I'd had that opening story about the baby for my series. Now, how long do I have to wait for chapter two?

 More kind words
I received your e-mail through the Erma Bombeck group. I appreciate the information you provided concerning columns and articles. I have been writing a weekly "column" for the local Democrat News since February 2002, but never knew what I would call my work. Your information has settled that dilemma for me. My column has provided me with an opportunity to interview as a part time reporter for the newspaper. Please tell all those wanna be writers out there to set their goals and keep trying. Even a small success feels great!

I am writing to say how much I enjoy your site ... it is both educational and informative. Thank you for providing a wonderful venue for those of us who want to learn as much as possible about the craft of journalism!

Thanks for telling me about your new Web site and letting me read the first chapter of "Lakota Moon."
I hereby place my order for at least one copy, probably more because I can think of several people that I would like to give the book to as gifts. I felt like I was there with your book characters, experiencing what they did.

Hey, Robyn, I just checked out your site. I love the beginning of your book. I like how you're getting into the story and it makes me want to read the rest ... which brings up the next question ... when can we order the book?
And I read the part about freelancing. I'm actually interested into getting into freelancing, just to expand my horizons and have different things going on. Thanks for the helpful tips.
